Rule of Law Seminar & Workshop 2023/24
The HKU Rule of Law Education Project (ROLE) was established in April 2012 and was revamped in 2020. The objective of ROLE is to enhance public understanding towards the crux of the rule of law and various basic legal concepts through different educational activities, as well as to give our law students practical teaching and lecture delivery experience. To date, we have organised more than 170 face-to-face and virtual seminars and workshop for secondary schools students, non-governmental and other community organisations.
ROLE seminars and workshops are designed and conducted by students under the guidance of supervisors within the Faculty of Law of The University of Hong Kong. We create tailor-made learning materials and activities to meet the needs of different target audience. The seminars are free of charge, so are the accompanying teaching materials which we could provide after the event upon request.
